Alamo operates a car rental desk at Nice Côte d'Azur Airport (NCE), with collection points in both terminal 1 and terminal 2. The agency rents cars, SUVs, and vans in manual and automatic transmission. Rental categories include Mini, Economy, Compact, Intermediate, Standard, Elite, Premium, and Luxury vehicles, as well as various commercial vans. Drivers must hold a valid driving license for at least one year (longer periods required for larger vehicle categories), and be at least 18 years old. Young drivers under 25 incur daily surcharges. Additional drivers cost €13 per day, capped at €130 total. The agency offers online check-in to reduce counter wait times, afterhours vehicle returns via a drop box, and a "skip-the-counter" option for pre-registered customers. Damage and theft coverage is available as an optional add-on, with deductibles ranging from €2000 to €4000 depending on vehicle category unless the excess waiver is purchased. A fuel prepayment option is available; otherwise, customers pay the agency's fuel rate plus a €20 service charge for refueling. Cross-border driving to Germany, Austria, Italy, Spain, and other approved countries is permitted for €55 with prior authorization. Customers picking up at the airport must provide a flight itinerary, boarding pass, or train ticket confirming arrival and departure.
