Avantech offers short-term rentals of Canon professional photo equipment including mirrorless camera bodies (EOS R5 C, EOS R6 Mark II, EOS R, EOS RP) and DSLR bodies (EOS 5D Mark III, EOS 6D), as well as a range of EF and RF mount lenses and flashes. The company is located in San Ġwann, Malta and operates Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 16:30.

Rental periods range from 3 to 21 days, with pricing varying by equipment and duration. For example, the Canon EOS R6 Mark II rents for €95 for 3 days, €135 for 7 days, €243 for 14 days, or €339 for 21 days. Optional damage waiver (ODW) coverage is available, which limits liability to 10% of the equipment's selling price (minimum €100) in case of damage or theft; without it, renters are liable for full value.

To rent equipment, customers contact Avantech via email, phone (+356 2148 8800), or Messenger to confirm availability and provide identification details. A 50% deposit secures the booking, paid via internet banking or at the showroom. Upon pickup, customers must leave a €200 safety deposit in cash or by card and bring their ID card. Equipment is inspected and the deposit refunded upon timely return. Avantech offers incentives including 50% credit towards purchase if you buy equipment within 30 days of rental, and 20% off for SOS replacements while customer gear is being repaired. Late returns incur a fee of 50% of the weekly rental rate per day, and extensions are subject to availability.
