BikeMi is Milans public bike-sharing system with mechanical and electric bikes operating since 2008.
BikeMi operates a bike-sharing system across Milan with docking stations throughout the city. Users download the app to find nearby stations, unlock bikes, and ride to their destination. The service operates 365 days a year from 06:00 to 02:00. Bicycles can be rented for up to 2 hours at a time; exceeding this limit incurs additional fees of 2€ per hour for traditional bikes or 4€ per hour for electric bikes. Subscriptions are available on a monthly basis with usage fees charged to the user's payment card when a 95€ limit is reached or within 10 days of the last uncharging ride. The company also offers business subscriptions for companies and organizations to purchase for their employees. Additional services include gift cards and voucher codes.
