Rent a Bike rents a wide range of bicycles from its location at Damstraat 20-22 in Amsterdam city centre, next to Dam Square and Rokin subway station. The fleet includes Dutch bikes with coaster brakes, city bikes with hand brakes and three gears, tandems, bicycles with child seats, children's bikes, children's tandems, cargo bikes for children, touring bikes with seven gears, hybrid bikes with 27 gears, and e-bikes. All rentals include free helmets, locks, maps, and bags where applicable. Bikes can be rented for periods from three hours upwards, with pricing structured in tiers: 3 hours, full day, extra day, and half day. The shop is open daily from 9:00 to 18:00. Online booking offers 10 per cent discount on standard rates. The company also offers delivery of bicycles to addresses in Amsterdam. Rent a Bike states it has over 40 years of operating history and describes itself as the oldest bike rental in Amsterdam.
