E-Car Latvia

E-Car Latvia rents mainly newer Toyota models, including hybrid and electric vehicles, from two locations: central Riga and Riga International Airport (parking P1). Prices start from 12.00 EUR per day. To rent, customers must be at least 21 years old with a valid driving licence held for at least 2 years and a credit card. Security deposits of 150.00–300.00 EUR are held on the card depending on vehicle class.

Booking is made through an online reservation system. Pick-up and drop-off at Riga Airport during business hours is free for rentals over 6 days; otherwise fees apply. For customers preferring collection elsewhere, E-Car offers delivery service to central Riga locations (A zone: 10–15 EUR) or Neste petrol stations (free during business hours) at specified rates. Out-of-hours service incurs additional charges.

The rental price includes 24/7 roadside assistance and repairs at authorised Toyota service centres across EU and EEA countries, with free towing to the nearest workshop. Customers can add a second driver (20 EUR for the rental period) or extend travel outside the Baltic states (70 EUR). All vehicles are maintained at authorised service facilities and the company follows consumer protection guidelines from Latvia's Consumer Rights Protection Centre and car rental association.
