E-VAI provides car sharing via an app-based platform across Lombardy, primarily serving corporate clients and public administrations as of September 2026. The company operates a fleet of electric and hybrid vehicles available at E-VAI Points throughout the region, including Milan's city center and airports. Hourly rental costs €9 per hour with €0.25 per kilometre charged after the first kilometre; daily rental costs €45 with 30 km included. Customers can drop off vehicles at different E-VAI Points within the network, enabling one-way trips. The service includes fuel, insurance, maintenance and parking at E-VAI Points; additional free parking is available in partner municipalities' residential zones and blue parking areas. E-VAI also operates at three Lombardy airports and major train stations. Users access the service through an official iOS and Android app and can drive anywhere in the European Union and Switzerland. As of 1 September 2026, the consumer service for private citizens and sole traders was discontinued; the company now focuses on business solutions including corporate fleet management, car replacement schemes for insurance companies, and institutional clients like universities and public administration.
