Europcar operates car and van rental services throughout Sweden with pickup and drop-off locations in major cities and airports. The company maintains rental desks in Stockholm and its surrounding areas (including Solna, Kista, Täby, Haninge, and Bromma), Gothenburg and surrounding municipalities, Malmö, Uppsala, and many other towns across the country ranging from small locations like Åre and Sväg to regional hubs like Sundsvall, Örebro, and Kalmar. Several locations are situated at airports (including Stockholm Arlanda, Gothenburg Landvetter, Malmö, Kalmar, Linköping, Trollhättan, Örebro, Östersund, Sundsvall Midlanda, Möra, Nykoping Skavsta, Angelholm, and Halmstad) and major train stations. To rent a vehicle, you must present a valid driver's license (held for the minimum period required locally), an identification document such as a passport, and a valid credit card. Europcar accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Diners Club. A deposit is required and held on the credit card. Vehicles are typically supplied with a full tank of fuel and can be returned with the same fuel level at no charge, or you can purchase the Full Tank Option upfront to return the vehicle with any amount of fuel remaining. Rental extensions are available depending on vehicle availability through the pickup location or local call centre. Pets are allowed in vehicles with written permission from the rental station.
