Kite Fun Tarifa

Kite Fun Tarifa operates as both a kitesurf school and rental center in Tarifa, a destination known for consistent wind over 300 days per year. The school has over 15 years of experience and offers group courses (from €25/hour), private lessons (€60/hour), and specialized courses in strapless kitesurf, kitefoiling, and wing foiling. All courses include North Kiteboarding and Ocean Rodeo equipment, liability and accident insurance, and rescue boat support. The school uses radio helmets in lessons for real-time instructor communication. Courses are available for beginners, intermediate and advanced riders, as well as children's sessions, with optional international IKO certification. The team is multilingual (Spanish, English, Dutch, French, German) and led by Carla Herrera, the 2019 Kitesurf World Champion. Rental and supervision is available at the school's location, and students can combine lessons with accommodation in on-site apartments or a surf house. The school also operates satellite surf and stand-up paddle schools.
