Tropical Bikes Copenhagen

Tropical Bikes operates in Copenhagen from Vester Voldgade 2A. The rental fleet includes adult city bikes with 7 gears (available in three frame sizes), e-bikes, cargo bikes for children or passengers, tandem bikes, e-cargo bikes, and children's bikes in two sizes (20'' and 24''). All bikes come with front and coaster brakes and lights. Guided tours last approximately 3 hours and cover Copenhagen highlights, architecture, sustainability, neighbourhoods, and food tours, with tours offered daily in multiple languages.

Rental bookings are made online or by phone (+45 50656210). Bikes must be returned by 18:00 on the final day or between 08:30-09:00 the following morning; late returns incur an extra day charge. The company requires a 1000 DKK deposit for rentals paid by non-credit card methods. Optional flat-tire insurance is available. Renters are responsible for damage to bikes during the rental period. During guided tours, a maximum of 15 participants per group is maintained. The shop is open all week from 09:00-15:00. Booking cancellations are allowed up to 24 hours before a tour for a full refund, with optional trip protection available for greater flexibility.
