Vienna Explorer Bike

Vienna Explorer operates a bike rental service at Franz-Josefs-Kai 45 in Vienna's 1st district. Three main bike types are available: City Bikes (3-gear, €20 for 4–8 hours, €25 daily), Touring Bikes like the KTM Life Conquest (30-gear, €26 for 4–8 hours, €31 daily), and E-bikes such as the KTM Tour P610 Macina (€44 for 4–8 hours, €55 daily). All models accommodate riders between 155 cm and 200 cm. The company also offers longer rental packages along the EuroVelo 6 Danube Bike Trail, including 7-day rentals from Passau to Vienna or Vienna to Budapest, and 14-day Passau-to-Budapest packages, with prices from €225 to €399. These longer rentals include bike delivery or collection, locks, panniers, helmets, and repair kits. The rental shop operates seasonally: closed November through February, limited hours in March, and daily 08:30–18:00 April through October. Cancellations of bike rentals made less than one month before the rental date incur a 20 per cent fee; cancellations within one week receive a 50 per cent refund, and no-shows forfeit payment entirely.
