Vloto

Vloto is a Dutch peer-to-peer car sharing platform launched in 2021 and based in Muiden. The fleet consists entirely of premium electric vehicles: Polestar 2, Mercedes EQB, Audi e-tron 55 Quattro, Volkswagen ID. Buzz, VW ID.4, VW ID.3, and Mini Cooper SE. All cars are fully insured with no excess liability. Vloto operates in Amsterdam (including neighbourhoods like IJburg, De Houthavens, Zeeburgereiland, Zeeburg, Overhoeks, Vondelbuurt, Spaarndammerbuurt, Westelijke Eilanden, Cruquius, and Driemond), plus Muiden, Weespersluis, Utrecht, Amersfoort, Haarlem, Amstelveen, and Tilburg.

Using Vloto works through a mobile app: register with your driving licence and ID for verification, reserve a car from the app, unlock it without a physical key, and return it to a designated Vloto parking location. The company offers four membership tiers with different monthly fees and per-hour charges: the Intro plan (no monthly fee, €5/hour with first hour free), Basis (€50/month, €4.50/hour, 10 free hours), Plus (€100/month, €3/hour, 30 free hours), and Pro (€200/month, €2.75/hour, 80 free hours). Kilometre charges range from €0.29 to €0.35 depending on membership level. All vehicles are fully charged and ready to use, with free charging at Vloto locations and a charging card included.
