Bundesverband der Maschinenringe Germany

Bundesverband der Maschinenringe is the German national Maschinenring federation since 1958 with 180000 farmer members across 60 regional rings.

Maschinenring Deutschland is the federal umbrella organization for regional Maschinenringe cooperatives across Germany. Each regional branch operates as a farmer-owned cooperative where members share agricultural machinery, equipment rental, and services. The network includes over 230 local organizations, each managing their own membership, equipment pools, pricing, and service offerings at the regional level. The platform facilitates machinery sharing among member farms, reduces individual equipment costs, and coordinates seasonal hiring of professional farm labourers and contractors. In addition to equipment access, the organization provides digital farm management tools (MeinAcker), purchasing discounts on farm inputs, energy supply services (LandEnergie), and training programmes through its academy. Farmers join their local regional Maschinenring and participate according to membership terms set by that branch. The headquarters is in Neuburg an der Donau.
