Carvelo2go is Switzerlands largest cargo bike sharing network operating in 80+ Swiss cities.
Carvelo is an electric cargo bike (eCargobike) sharing service operated by the TCS Mobility Academy and Touring Club Schweiz. The service allows users to rent Carvelo bikes by the hour through a mobile app, picking them up from local hosts (residents or businesses) in their neighbourhood and returning them after use. Each bike can carry loads of up to 100 kg or transport two children. More than 400 Carvelos are available across over 100 Swiss cities and municipalities at approximately 330 pickup locations nationwide. Rental pricing starts at CHF 2.50 plus CHF 2.25 per hour. The company also offers a complementary service called Smargo, which provides electric minivans for short-term rental as a pilot programme. Carvelo operates a partnership model allowing businesses, shops, restaurants, and residential communities to host bikes and earn revenue from shared usage.
