Flinkster is Deutsche Bahns car-sharing service with 4000+ cars at 800+ stations across Germany.

Flinkster operates a station-based car-sharing service across Germany, with vehicles parked at fixed locations near train stations. The fleet consists of three vehicle types: VW Polo (compact), VW Golf Variant (estate), and VW T-Roc (compact SUV). All vehicles include fuel, navigation, air conditioning, and parking assistance. Rental is charged hourly at €5.90 to €6.90 per hour with a daily maximum of €59 to €69, plus €0.36 per kilometre and a €1.90 booking fee. Weekend and extended weekend tariffs offer discounts with included free kilometres. Optional insurance reduces the excess from €1,500 to a maximum of €300 for €14.90. Customers register and book through the Flinkster app or website, unlock vehicles via a personal PIN from the app, and return cars to their assigned station by inserting the key chip back into the glove compartment. The service targets rail passengers and offers free registration for those with a BahnCard, Deutsche Bahn's frequent traveller card. Flinkster also participates in a partner network with other car-sharing providers across Germany, accessible through the same app.
