Mahi Mahi Surf School

Mahi Mahi Surf School teaches surfing at Côte des Basques beach in Biarritz, with the flexibility to relocate to other spots including Hendaye, Bidart, and locations in the Landes region depending on conditions. Founded by Charlotte Caton, a former professional surfer, the school offers group lessons with a maximum of six students per instructor, private lessons, multi-day packages, and Surf Safari experiences. Lessons last 90 minutes and include spot observation, warm-up, water practice, and debriefing. All equipment—surf boards and wetsuits adjusted by season—is provided as part of the lesson price. Group lessons start from €55, private lessons from €150, and Surf Safari experiences from €200. Lessons are available year-round, with scheduling based on tide and weather conditions. The school accepts children from age six and offers instruction in French, English, and Spanish. Transport is included in some offerings, with alternative payment methods including card, cash, and cheque.
