Maschinenring Österreich

Maschinenring Österreich is the Austrian national Maschinenring federation since 1961 with 73000 farmer members across 78 regional rings.

Maschinenring Austria is a membership-based agricultural cooperative founded in the 1960s as an association for farmer mutual assistance. Today it operates with over 70,000 farmer members and 30,000 service providers and employees across more than 80 regional offices throughout Austria. The organisation provides agrarische Maschinendienstleistungen (agricultural machinery services), which includes machinery hiring and sharing arrangements that strengthen farm competitiveness. Members can participate in Maschinengemeinschaften (machinery cooperatives) for shared equipment access, arrange for agrarische Arbeitskräfte (agricultural labour), and access support for crop management including digitales Feldmanagement (digital field management) and Nährstoffmanagement (nutrient management). The cooperative also offers advisory services through farm academies and regular sector meetings. Beyond agriculture, Maschinenring provides forestry, winter services, landscape maintenance, and personnel contracting across rural regions of Austria. Contact is handled through regional offices, which can be identified by postal code.
