Stadtmobil
Stadtmobil is a network of regional car-sharing cooperatives operating across 200+ German cities.
Stadtmobil operates car-sharing stations in Berlin, Hannover, Karlsruhe, Rhein-Main, Rhein-Neckar, Rhein-Ruhr, Stuttgart, and Trier, with additional partner coverage in Leipzig, Munich, and Cologne. Members can book vehicles through the website, smartphone app, or phone and collect them at any of its stations using an access card or the app. The fleet includes compact city cars, electric and hybrid vehicles, cabriolets, estate cars with roof racks and bicycle carriers, minibuses with up to nine seats, vans, and small commercial vehicles. Rental is charged by the hour and kilometre, with hourly rates and per-kilometre fees varying by region. Monthly membership includes a security package. A one-time registration fee applies, varying by region. The service is available to both private users and businesses, with the option of corporate carsharing for companies. Equipment such as roof racks, bicycle carriers, and snow chains can be rented at some locations.
